The EU Data Act intends to empower the European Data Economy by introducing various new rules such as on data sharing between enterprises, the provision of data to the public sector, and on switching between certain cloud services (so-called data processing services). Given how much is at stake for the green digital transition, we are excited to address the following key questions with various Data Act stakeholders:
How does Data Sharing work today, and how could it be improved further?
What is the role of the public sector in the data economy?
What is the current state of switching between data processing services and what’s next?
